When the clan first found Adonis, they originally mistook the assassin for a woman, given the fact that he was dressed in a silk gown and corset, albeit torn up and bloodied from the nine days he endured being tortured. At first, due to the confusion, the young man already so close to death was just about left in his hour of need. Countess didn't turn women...

Again careful deliberation and quite literally stripping the unconscious Adonis, they discovered that he was indeed a man. Turning him proceed to be a problem however, due to the poison in his blood, resulting in the incapacitation of they're mother in a temporary death state.

Perhaps it was due to the poison already coursing through his body, or perhaps because he was on the brink of death, "seeing through the veil" so to speak, but Adonis took the longest time to revive after being turned. His body reacted to Countess' blood as if it were some type of poison, adapting to it, though what was meant to cure and heal the lad resulted in Adonis being forever poisonous.

When Adonis was first awakened as a vampire, the young assassin was in awe of the beauty before him and began to weep before attacking the clan with newfound strength and vigor, determined to persevere their beauty forever; not understanding that it was already done so as they were vampires; forever immortal, forever young, forever beautiful. They got to experience first hand just how deadly Adonis could be, and several of them fell in a temporary death only to be revived after so long.

Stunned by this, Adonis halted in his attacks, demanding answers. Why? H-How...? I-I killed you... This was when Countess was able to explain what they were and what he now was. Adonis demonstrated a great amount of restraint, whereas most newborns were easily consumed by their own bloodlust from the neverending thirst; Adonis however did not let it consume him. Perhaps this was in part to his gentle nature, the fact that he despised killing; bit I'm the end it mattered not for he only fed when he needed to.

Being a vampire allowed Adonis to continue creating his own poisons and toxins as well as the antidotes. Testing them on himself and the rest of the clan, assured that it would never truly bring about their permanent death. This also allowed him to record and document the reactions time, symptoms, how long said effects lasted.

He's had quite a difficult time however I'm the love department, unable to act on romantic feelings or sexual urges, knowing that he can kill with a kiss or through sex should protection not be used; even blow jobs are out of the question. It makes physical contact very difficult for him which is practically a requirement in any relationship.
